I am seeing a lot of very bad & misleading info on this subject. We set up a number of 401k's and simple IRA's for employers. We ALWAYS used a FPDA and mutual funds. Also we worked in the school markets and used the same approach. Employees & individuals using mutual funds only did not retire in approx' a 12 year period. Is our intent with these articles to help people forget the lost decade and the millions who could not retire? This article is obviously written by people that don't have employees best interest at heart.
