E*TRADE Financial Corp. on Friday announced a hefty expansion of its lineup of commission-free exchange-traded funds and no-transaction-fee mutual funds available on its platform.
So far this year, the company has added five new ETF providers offering 47 commission-free ETFs from ETF Securities (three funds), Guggenheim Investments (16 funds), IndexIQ (nine funds), John Hancock (11 funds), and J.P. Morgan (eight funds).
In addition, E*TRADE has added 1,900 no-load or load waived, no-transaction-fee mutual funds.
In total, E*TRADE now offers 133 commission-free ETFs and more than 4,400 no-transaction-fee mutual funds on its platform.
