PGIM Investments, an affiliate of Prudential Financial Inc., said Thursday it is now one of Edward Jones’s strategic product partners.

The Newark, N.J.-based asset manager’s products will be among other third-party funds offered to Edward Jones’s approximately 16,000 financial advisors.

“We’re pleased to add PGIM to our list of strategic partners,” said Kyle Andersen, the principal of managed investments at Edward Jones, in a statement. “We believe their offerings enhance our ability to provide our clients the best solutions to achieve their investment goals.”

PGIM joins BlackRock and eight other firms such as American Funds, Franklin Templeton, Hartford and John Hancock that have partnered with Edward Jones.

Edward Jones has a long-standing relationship with Prudential, offering its annuities and individual life insurance products.

PGIM Investments offers 100 mutual funds globally, and it launched 40 of them within the last five years.
