Emigrant Partners, a specialist capital and advice partner for advisory services, has expanded its advisory team and investment group with three new hires, according to a news release.

Jason Ehrlich, managing director and head of investments, Mark Bruno, managing director and head of strategic advisory, and Sam Grewal, vice president of Investments will work closely with Emigrant’s 20 wealth and alternative asset management firms to identify inorganic and organic opportunities to accelerate their growth, the release said.

“The additions will strengthen the company’s deep expertise in the wealth and asset management industries and enhance Emigrant Partners’ position as a leading specialist capital and strategic advice provider to Registered Investment Advisors,” the release noted.

Ehrlich joins Emigrant from private equity firm TowerBrook Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading investments across the financial services industry. He also worked for  Onex Partners, Lightyear Capital, and Aquiline Capital.

Grewal, who had been a vice president of Emigrant Bank since May 2021, will work closely with Ehrlich on deploying Emigrant Partners’ strategic capital, the release said, noting that he has more than a decade of experience across sell-side M&A, leveraged finance, and private equity. He also has held positions at Essar Capital Americas and BNP Paribas.

Bruno, previously the managing director of the Wealth Management Group at Informa, where he oversaw the group’s media (WealthManagement.com), research (Wealth Management IQ), and events (RIA Edge) businesses, will focus primarily on helping to execute the growth plans of Emigrant’s 20 partner firms while also introducing new opportunities to drive organic and inorganic growth, the release said. The release noted that he has more than 20 years of experience as a researcher, consultant and content creator in the wealth and asset management industries. He has worked for Echelon Partners, Bonhill Group and Crain Communications, according to his LinkedIn.

“Jason and Mark bring a collective knowledge of wealth and asset management that will immediately translate to the continued growth and success of our existing partner firms,” Jenny Souza, president and CEO of Emigrant Partners, said in a statement. “They have unique and incredibly complementary skill sets, combined with deep relationships across the wealth and asset management communities that will help drive a new wave of growth for Emigrant and our partner firms.”
