Envestnet, a firm that provides wealth management technology and products to financial advisors and institutions, has launched two new global equity portfolios that take climate change into consideration, the company announced Thursday.

Envestnet’s Quantitative Research Group has created the Quantitative Portfolio and the Impact Global Climate Solution. The passively managed portfolios enable investors to allocate assets to companies that are developing solutions for mitigating pollution and climate change, Envestnet said.

The portfolios incorporate five areas of environmental concern into the investments, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, green transportation, green buildings and sustainable agriculture.
