EQIS Capital Management, an asset management platform that serves RIAs, has announced changes and additions to its senior management team. Lee Chertavian, the chairman of the executive committee of the board, announced that the firm has appointed Joseph F. Hunter to be its president and chief executive officer.
Hunter will oversee all aspects of the EQIS organization, including investing, compliance, finance, product development, sales, marketing, operations and engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in executive management at several financial firms.
Chertavian stated, “Joseph’s depth of experience and expertise in the financial services industry make him ideally suited to lead the next phase of EQIS’s growth.”
The firm also announced the addition of Kari Franz as the senior vice president of marketing. She is a financial services professional with 29 years of industry experience in client communications and digital marketing.
