A trio of financial advisors from Louisville, Ky., who managed $502 million, has left Wells Fargo for Raymond James & Associates employee advisor channel, according to a news release.

Don Dentinger, Robert Cregor Jr., and Rebecca Lovan operate RiverWealth Management Group of Raymond James. The group is joined by client associates Taylor Jessie and Stacy Payne.

Dentinger, senior vice president for investments, who began his career with Prudential in 1998, moved to Wells Fargo in 2003, where he co-formed RiverWealth Management Group. In moving to Raymond James, he said he feels fortunate to be surrounded by a strong team at a firm that puts clients’ needs first. "The move to Raymond James and our clients’ response validates the path we are on. I look forward to adding to the team in the near future and continuing to improve the level of service we provide,” he said in a statement.

Cregor, senior vice president, investments, who got his start at J.J.B Hilliard, W.L. Lyons in 1999 and moved to Wells Fargo in 2011, said in a statement that while it is refreshing to work at a firm that’s primarily focused on supporting advisors’ and clients’ relations, “it’s the ‘can do’ attitudes of everyone I have met or talked with, either locally or at the home office, that sets Raymond James apart."

Lovan, also a founding member of RiverWealth Management Group, began her career in 1999 at ARM Securities and later served clients as part of Prudential Securities before also moving to Wells Fargo in 2003.

“Our success is rooted in providing clients with unparalleled service and support to help them reach their financial goals,” she said in a statement. “Raymond James was the best fit for our team because it set itself apart as the most client-focused, client-driven and client-friendly firm on the street."

Tom Galvin, Southern division director for RJA, said RiverWealth Management Group further grows Raymond James’ presence in Louisville. “Don, Robert and Rebecca are best represented by their unwavering desire to do what’s right for each of their clients. This approach aligns with the service-first emphasis that is integral to the culture of our firm.”
