F.L.Putnam Investment Management Company is looking to expand its presence in the ultra-high-net-worth and single-family office space and has brought in Stephanie Bruckner, an 18-year veteran of the financial services industry, to help it do that.
She will assume the role of principal and managing director of investment consulting and work closely with the Wellesley, Mass-based firm’s investment and Atrato Consulting teams. The goal of the partnership will be to provide clients with outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) services specifically designed to meet the client’s needs, the firm said in a release.
Those services will include investment strategy design and implementation, portfolio construction and execution across liquid and illiquid assets, proprietary research, comprehensive reporting, and family office services, according to the firm.
“Current market challenges provide an opportunity for wealth managers to distinguish themselves,” Bruckner said in a statement. “F.L.Putnam has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results to clients during all market environments, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to further build on that success.”
Before joining F.L.Putnam, Bruckner established and ran Archilo, an OCIO consulting practice. Before that she managed a family office for five years. She has also worked as a trader within Citadel Global Equities, an FX Sales Trader at Barclays Capital, and began her career as an investment banker at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
“Stephanie has worked with ultra-high-net-worth clients and single-family offices through multiple market cycles,” said Tom Manning, CEO of F.L.Putnam, in a statement. “Our clients will benefit every bit as much as the firm will from this important addition to the team.”
Bruckner will report to Manning and work out of the firm’s New York office, according to a firm spokesman.
