Fidelity Charitable is offering a seminar on sustainable, responsible and impact investing (SRI) for advisors online, Fidelity announced Tuesday.

The one-hour program, which is being offered through Fidelity Charitable’s practice management program, is designed to help advisors address their clients’ interest in SRI investing.

The material in the practice management program is designed for RIAs, broker-dealers, CPAs, trust and estate attorneys and other financial intermediaries. The session focuses on definitions and trends of impact investing, approaches and case studies to work with clients, how to uncover different client motivations, and the best practices for building an impact strategy.

“Impact investing has reached a tipping point -- a Fidelity Charitable study finds that over 70 percent of millennials and Gen Xers have already made an impact investment but many still crave education,” Krystal Kiley, vice president of Practice Management at Fidelity Charitable, said in a statement. “Advisors play a key role in helping clients understand the different approaches available to them to weave impact through philanthropic and practical portfolio strategies.”

In addition to the impact investing seminar, other practice management courses include charitable essentials, giving complex assets and family philanthropy.
