Fiduciary Trust Company International named Edgardo Gonzalez as its new senior portfolio manager and managing director at its office in Coral Gables, Fla.

Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust, Gonzalez worked for U.S. Trust in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. as a portfolio manager in the company’s global wealth and investment management unit. Prior to that, he was a wealth advisor at TIAA-CREF in New York and Miami.

New York City-based Fiduciary Trust says it is strategically hiring relationship-focused individuals to grow its Coral Gables office. In June, it hired Leticia Hernandez as trust counsel. She has more than 18 years of experience in tax and estate planning strategies for U.S. and international individuals. And in November 2017, the firm hired Manuel Cabielles as its managing director and business development officer. Cabielles has more than 20 years of experience helping families and individuals in Miami and Latin America,
