Cultural diversity, which has been talked about a lot, can amplify your business and make a better office environment, but we need to make sure we take the right approach to this. Steve Denning, author of The Leader’s Guide to Radical Management: Reinventing the Workplace states: “Why is it so hard? Because an organization’s culture is made up of an interlocking set of goals, roles, processes, values, communications practices, attitudes and assumptions. Changing the culture requires a combination of organization tools for changing minds.”

An external advisor can review and analyze the team and all the information and facts you have provided and then give their advice on the above three points. These individuals who are not in the day-to-day with you will uncover things you didn’t know you were even looking for, maybe some missing links, and help to restore energy amongst the team. 

We all need a boost of spirit, and even though we are advisors, we still need to be advised.
