Lu’s repeated attempts to open accounts for the woman escalated within Chase, and its internal investigations group began to question Lu about his attempts to open accounts, Finra said, adding thatt Lu resigned at the time of questioning and refused to answer any questions.
Finra said the investigations group reported the matter to state government authorities, who subsequently appointed a guardian for the woman and brought legal action to revoke the power of attorney and trust agreement.
