Fintech in orbit. After blasting off and the first and second stage rockets jettisoned, the KFTX achieved orbit today (Friday) and is ‘floating’ calmly in weightlessness.  Meaning, today was a pause with the index closing basically unchanged at 1078.60, off a minuscule .37 (-0.03%). Buyers stopped buying and sellers…………..well, didn’t sell.

With this last of the week calmness for the KFTX ‘in the books’, let’s check the list of issues moving at least 2 points and/or 3%. Here we go:

ADS  -7.67  (232.20)  -3.20%

MKTX  +2.03  (166.97)

RATE  -.55  (10.35)  -5.05%

Actually not that surprised there are only 3 ‘movers’ today since yesterday’s list was not that big even with the index’s huge up move. There were 26 stocks up, 21 down and 2 unchanged. Friday is done and gone.

Total reversal from the week before. As ‘bad’ as the previous week finished, this past week made up for that and more with the NASDAQ fintech index leaping 46.92 points to 1078.60, a nice gain of +4.5%. Oh yeah, new all time high too. Whew!
