9/27/16 Daily Closing Analysis - NASDAQ Fintech Index (KFTX)

Debate bounce. Couple of down days so let’s call the move up today a presidential debate bounce. The KFTX moved up to 1040.29, a gain of 5.38 (+0.52%). After the morning passed things just went……dull.
Looking at intraday moves of +/- 3% only four stocks popped up (or down) and those were morning trades. BOFI jumped 1.15 to 22.89 (+5.29%) and SSNC closed at 32.50 (after being higher earlier) up .72 (+2.27%). Going the other way, FDS dropped 11.85 to 164.34 (-6.73%) on Q4 earnings & revenue miss, and INFO sank .61 to 35.64 (-1.68%) but was down more in the morning.
Stocks with a +/- 2 point move include; ADS +2.03 (213.47); FDS -11.85 (164.34 see above); and MKTX +2.39 (170.27). Hmmmmm, only three…..odd.
So, presidential debate round 1 is over (winner? TV networks) and the rest of the week slides in to the end of Q3. Have a super night.
