9/8/16 Analysis - NASDAQ Fintech Index (KFTX)
European news (or non-news) this morning could not wake up the markets. In fact, nothing wakes up the markets. Snooze. So, what did the NASDAQ fintech index do?
Almost nothing too. The index closed at 1055.06, down -1.63 points or -0.15%. Yawn.
How about intraday activity, I bet you are asking. Snore. Not one of the 49 stocks in the index had a + or – 3% intraday move. In fact, not any of those 49 stocks closed with a 2 point move. Up or down. Someone set the alarm to wake up the volatility.
So, tomorrow? Sleep in, or better yet, take the day off. Nothing going to happen. But, like I said yesterday, watch out next week. Major option expiration series and everyone is sooooooo sleepy.
