9/19/16 Daily Closing Analysis - NASDAQ Fintech Index (KFTX)
Finished flat. Up morning resulted in a very slow decline to unchanged on the day for the KFTX. The fintech index ended today at 1034.62, up or +0.08% . OK, basically unchanged.
Any of those forty nine stocks in the index move around a little? Yes, a few did pierce our +/- 3% threshold intraday.
BKFS held on to gains to close at 40.94, up 1.23 (+3.10%), FLT up over 3% early on finished at 168.42, up 4.01 (+2.44%) , RATE could not hold a 3% gain but closed at 7.66, up .13 (+1.73%).
Going the other way, HAWK closed down 1.29 (-4.25%) at 29.04 and LC gave up some of last week’s big gains to finish at 6.19, down .24 (-3.73%).
Big point movers (+/-2points) include FLT 168.42 and MKTX 170.74 (-2.02).
Probably tomorrow (Tuesday) will be very dull. BOJ is expected to have HUGE news on stimulus policy tomorrow night/Wednesday morning and our Fed begins two day meeting (coffee & donuts) to check data points. Have a great evening.
