9/20/16 Daily Closing Analysis - NASDAQ Fintech Index (KFTX)

Yawn! Flat and dull. That sums up Tuesday and is reflected by the NASDAQ KFTX index closing at 1034.79, up +0.17 points or (gasp) +.0.02%.

Broader picture shows only four stocks had an intraday move of +/- 3% today; two up and two down. The “ups” were ENV closing at 38.25, +1.00 (+2.68%) after being higher early on and HAWK finishing at 30.42, up 1.38 (+4.75%). And the downs, LC off .09 to 6.10 (-1.45%) after being lower earlier and PAY 15.53, off .51 (-3.18%).

Three of the forty nine index’s stocks actually had a two point move (yea); ADS lost -2.30 to 213.74, ICE down -2.04 to 280.21 and MKTX rose +2.09 closing at 172.83. That’s all there is.

Of course today’s inactivity was expected with tonight’s BOJ announcement AND our very own Fed’s decision (indecision) on interest rates. (note: there is a press conference after). So, could be a volatile day. Have a super evening.
