New York-based global fintech firm Broadridge Financial Solutions, with a market cap of $4B, has agreed to acquire Dublin-based FundAssist for an undisclosed amount. According to the Broadridge website, the acquisition of FundAssist enables the firm to "expand its regulatory solutions for funds distributing into EU markets".

Broadridge is an extremely diverse financial firm, offering everything from IPO services to eCards & email marketing to fixed income trade processing. They serve the consumer finance, healthcare, insurance, retail banking, telecom and utilities industries.

With the acquisition, they'll add one more tool to their arsenal of services.
