More than three-quarters of the respondents, 76 percent, said they were satisfied with their primary financial institution, rating the firms as an eight or higher on a 10-point satisfaction scale. More than one-fourth, 28 percent, gave their current primary financial institution a “perfect 10.”

For its study, Fiserv commissioned Harris Poll to survey 3,050 U.S. adults 18 and older who own a checking account and have at least some level of involvement managing their household finances. The surveys were conducted between Oct. 22 and Nov. 4, 2015.
