Financial advisors Paul Strong, Jim Pekelder, Scott Prai, Marc Strasser, and Jared Strasser have all joined the Ameriprise employee channel. The advisors bring a combined $534 million in client assets under management (AUM), Ameriprise announced.
Paul Strong of Daytona Beach, Fla., was formerly with Morgan Stanley, where he managed about $149 million in client assets. His new title as an Ameriprise employee is financial advisor and managing director. Strong’s branch manager is Daniel Landrau.
Jim Pekelder and Scott Prai of Omaha, Neb., operating under the practice name of Pekelder Prai Financial Strategies Group, were formerly with Wells Fargo, where they managed about $196 million in client assets. Their branch manager is Chris Knust.
Father-and-son team Marc and Jared Strasser of Boca Raton, Fla., operating as The Strasser Group, were formerly with Morgan Stanley, where they managed about $189 million in client assets. Their branch manager is Drew Granauro.
