Power Investment Services, a division of Power Financial Credit Union of Pembroke Pines, Fla., is joining LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and corporate registered investment advisor (RIA) platforms.
Power Investment Services handles approximately $130 million in the credit union’s assets under advisory (AUA) at its six branch locations throughout south Florida.
Power Investment Services was formerly with CUSO Financial Services LP, headquartered in San Diego, Calif.
LPL Financial LLC is the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States. As of September 30, 2018, the company had 16,174 financial advisors; $681 billion in advisory and brokerage assets; and $493 million in 2018 Q3 gross profit.
