FLX Networks, a financial technology services firm in Bernardsville, N.J., has appointed industry veterans Kimberly Beck and Brett Wright to the FLX Advisory Board, the company said.

“One of our core values is diversity of thought, ideas, and approach, as we believe that such intellectual diversity is key to success," FLX founder and CEO Brian Moran said in a prepared statement. “With their distinguished and distinct backgrounds, both Kimberly and Brett bring the varied expertise necessary to realize our mission.”

Beck, who has 25 years of experience in the financial technology and asset management industries, currently serves as head of North America Marketing for FNZ, a global wealth management platform that acquired her former employer, YieldX. Beck has held leadership positions at Envestnet, BlackRock, and Nuveen. 

She was a member of the board of governors for the Money Management Institute and co-founder and chairwoman of the Envestnet Women’s Initiative Network, according to a news release.

“Since its launch in 2019, I have been so intrigued by the community FLX has set out to build, and its mission to modernize and simplify the engagement between asset managers and wealth managers,” Beck said in the news release. “I am excited to join the FLX Advisory Board and use my marketing and industry experience to help FLX continue to grow the business, innovate its offerings, and deliver a top-rate client experience.”

Beck received a B.A. degree in English and Communications from Cabrini University, and a M.B.A. degree in marketing from LaSalle University.

Wright, who launched a namesake consultancy in January, most recently headed client solutions for the Americas at the Macquarie Group and served as a member of the Macquarie Asset Management Public Investments’ Executive Committee. He has also served as trustee and CEO for the Optimum Fund Trust. Additionally, Wright has served on the Board of Governors for the Money Management Institute and the board of governors for the Investments & Wealth Institute.

Wright received a bachelor's  degree from Penn State University, where he was captain of the Penn State Football team.

In the news release, Wright said he was eager to share his insights along with other members of the FLX Advisory Board
