Bradley Mascho of Frederick, Md., in June pled guilty to securities fraud and making false statements for his involvement in the scheme. He is awaiting sentencing, but already has agreed to pay at least $3 million in restitution to the victims.
Several years ago, Bennett was also sanctioned by the SEC for overstating her assets under management in marketing materials.
