Chris Blunt, former president of New York Life’s Investments Group, has been named senior managing director and CEO of Blackstone Insurance Solutions.
The unit will be a new business designed to provide Blackstone’s investment management services and products to insurance companies, the company said.
Prior to his new role with Blackstone, Blunt spent 13 years at New York Life, where he most recently served as president of the Investments Group.
