Young advisors will meet at the Financial Planning Association’s NexGen Gathering from June 10 to 12 at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, Texas.

This year’s gathering will for the first time feature a pre-conference meeting for NexGen directors at different FPA chapters to offer education and resources to the volunteer leaders. The pre-conference day will also include presentations that apply to financial planning professionals across ages and career levels.

The NexGen Gathering is unusual in that it uses a flexible schedule to allow attendees to come together around common issues and themes, rather than a structured agenda of presentations.

The FPA expects about 100 attendees, with a typical age between 21 and 36 years old.
Starting March 1, interested attendees can apply for scholarships that cover FPA NexGen Gathering registration fees, lodging, conference meals and travel expenses.

Through March 4, registration will be available on the FPA website at an early bird price of $299.
