The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has created a partnership with three financial planning consulting firms to provide resources for FPA members to increase their businesses and become more profitable, FPA announced Tuesday.
The firms that are helping to create the Business Success Partners Program for FPA are Fox Financial Planning Network of San Diego, Calif.; Peak Advisor Alliance of Omaha, Neb.; and Pathfinder Strategic Solutions of Knoxville, Tenn. The firms specialize in business consulting and financial planning coaching. They will work with the FPA over the next 18 months.
The goal of the program is to “arm FPA members and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professionals with tools and resources that will make them more productive, profitable and successful,” FPA says.
The firms will develop resource materials that will be available on the FPA website on a monthly basis, will participate in the FPA annual conference in Boston Sept. 26 to 28, will write articles for the FPA Practice Management Blog, and will provide other business tools for FPA members, FPA says.
“FPA is providing our members with valuable resources that will help them build on their business strengths while turning challenges into opportunities,” says FPA Executive Director and CEO Lauren M. Schadle. “The FPA Business Success Partners Program will allow our members to tap into a few leading industry coaching and consulting companies that will generate content specifically for the FPA community.”
FPA members will be able to access the program at the FPA website at www.OneFPA.org.
