• Do you have social media share buttons where you should?
  • Are your website and social pages properly linked?
  • Does your website have mobile device optimization?
  • Is your blog “fresh” or filled with stale content?
  • If someone wants to reach you, do you have an online lead capture process?

Think of it this way – it’s September and you are back to school. You’ll get a score out of 100 points, and there are some simple instructions to help you quickly make improvements that will deliver better search engine results and set priorities for your firm. This is important whether or not you consider yourself a digital marketer – every prospect is checking you out, and you need to at least seem up to date. It’s also a lot of fun, and you can test your competitors’ sites, too, so you know where you stand in the crowd. Aim for 70 percent or higher.

Now is the perfect time to give yourself a few tests to see if you are making the grade. Marketing is like anything else – the more you focus on it, get feedback and practice, the better you will be!
