The Financial Services Institute (FSI), an organization representing independent financial advisors and independent broker-dealer firms, is partnering with Bachrach & Associates Inc.

FSI financial advisor members will now have access to the AdvisorRoadmap platform, created by consultant and speaker Bill Bachrach. Members will also receive preferred pricing on the annual membership.

The AdvisorRoadmap is a web-based client-acquisition training program. The platform simulates real-life situations to build advisor confidence while acquiring high-value clients. The content includes interactive training courses, scripts, videos and demonstrations that can be delivered through a computer, tablet or mobile device.

The partnership comes as the most recent addition to FSI’s CoveredAdvisor program. The initiative was launched in 2015 and provides a number of affinity benefits to its enrollment network.

The AdvisorRoadmap supports advisors in growing their businesses, mastering client acquisition, retaining more ideal clients, and truly making the needs of their clients the first priority, said Bachrach.

Members will also receive access to confidence-building tools and proven processes for the successfully upgrading of existing clients into full-service, values and goals-based planning clients. This includes comprehensive leadership-skill building and time management strategies for discerning high payoff activities versus low payoff activities, he added.

The courses apply proven strategies to address a number of real-life challenges financial advisors may experience. For example, the content guides users through a variety of topics -- from articulating value as a financial advisor, getting hired at the first meeting and bringing on new clients as full-service financial planning clients from the start -- to mastering the follow-up process with prospective clients and shifting the focus of clients or prospects who are distracted by external forces (investment performance, economic uncertainty, politics, etc.), according to the company website.

FSI members who sign up before September 1 or who sign up at the FSI Forum Sept. 24-26 in Salt Lake City will receive a $400 discount on the annual rate and pay $800 for the annual membership (regularly $850). A monthly membership fee is also available. Members who attend the forum will be able to participate in a live session hosted by Bachrach.
