GW&K Investment Management, headquartered in Boston, has promoted Gabriela L. Greenman to the position of partner of the firm, the company said today.

Greenman joined the firm in 2010 as an equity research analyst on GW&K’s domestic small cap equity team, where she focused on the consumer discretionary and consumer staples sectors. Greenman also serves as a member of the firm’s Investment, ESG, and Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee.

In a prepared statement, Thomas F.X. Powers, co-chief executive officer of GW&K, praised Greenman’s exemplary performance.

“Gaby’s keen insight, commitment to our disciplined research process, and expertise have played an important role in driving the success of our domestic small cap strategies and their strong track records,” he said. “There is no doubt in our minds that she will bring this same determination and commitment to the partnership team.”

Greenman, an industry veteran with two decades of experience, earned a B.S. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Miami, and a M.B.A. degree from the Sloan School of Business Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She got her start in the financial services industry as a research analyst in the investment, marketing, and operations groups at Putnam Investments, which she joined in 2003. She also spent three years as a consultant with Accenture.

Founded in 1974, GW&K Investment Management reported $46.8 billion in assets under management on December 30, 2022, for a diverse client base of individuals, corporations, public funds, endowments, foundations, and financial institutions.
