Hamilton Capital, a Columbus, Ohio-based registered investment advisor managing more than $3 billion in client assets, has appointed Francis Chu and Pete Klingelhofer to the Investment Management team as managing directors of portfolio management, the company announced today.

Chu has more than two decades of experience in alternative investments at RIAs, multi-family offices and funds of hedge funds. He most recently served as head of investments at Bitterroot Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for asset allocation and investment selection across both traditional and alternative assets.

Chu holds a B.S. degree from New York University's Stern School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder and certified public accountant (inactive) in New York State.

Klingelhofer has nearly 25 years of investment experience in portfolio management and global asset allocation. Prior to joining Hamilton, he served as a portfolio manager for the JP Morgan Multi-Asset Solutions team. He spent the first 17 years of his career at State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio as an analyst and portfolio manager.

Klingelhofer earned a B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University. He is a CFA charterholder and member of the Columbus Society of Financial Analysts.
