For buyers in the $10 million or $20 million range, “those are investment dollars to him or her,” said Judi Desiderio, chief executive officer of Town & Country. “They’re either keeping their cash on the side waiting for the stock market to tank so they can pounce, or they’re waiting for the high-end market to have a correction -- which it is.”
