The Financial Planning Association has revamped its Job Board to attract more job seekers, as well as those looking for new staff, FPA announced Tuesday.

The FPA Job Board is designed to help “financial planners and employers easily connect and explore rewarding and meaningful financial planning career opportunities,” FPA said.

The site allows job seekers to showcase their skills and work experience to prospective employers and provides employers access to a qualified talent pool to fill open positions. In partnership with the Financial Job Exchange, the job board provides relevant jobs for candidates and the highest return on investment for employers, FPA said.

The Financial Job Exchange is a network of local and national online career centers in banking, finance, accounting and insurance. A link to it can be found on the job board site.

“FPA desires to support the next generation of financial planners throughout their career paths,” FPA Executive Director and Lauren M. Schadle said. “By redesigning and re-engineering the FPA Job Board, the next generation – and other potential job seekers – will connect with those employers looking to onboard new, dynamic talent.”

The job board has nearly 9,600 searchable resumes posted. Employers can post videos and branding materials to attract job seekers.
