Financial advisors Parker Inabnet and Kate Redden of I.M. Wealth Care, an advisory firm based in Greenwood Village, Colo., has joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and corporate registered investment advisor platforms by aligning with Super OSJ Merit Financial Group, headquartered in Alpharetta, Ga., according to a news release.

Inabnet and Redden were formerly with 1st Global, an affiliate of Blucora, where they managed about $200 million in client assets.

Inabnet was raised in Louisiana, but moved to Colorado, where he launched his independent practice in 2004 at age 26. In 2016, Inabnet partnered with Redden, who had spent most of her career with a large RIA firm based in Atlanta before moving to Colorado with her family.

Inabnet, Redden—who specializes in working with women—and their team, which includes three equity-partner CPAs, provide investment advice with a focus on comprehensive financial planning to a clientele of medical professionals, business owners, families and retirees at their Greenwood Village headquarters and Colorado Springs branch office.

“Kate and I share a common view on the importance of building a financial plan for each client before we even start managing assets,” Inabnet said.

He said that the two moved their business to LPL Financial in search of an enhanced client experience and office efficiencies delivered through LPL’s ClientWorks and Account View technologies, which allow clients to visually track their portfolio.

“We love that we can pull different reports and performance numbers from one system,” Inabnet said, adding that he and Redden saw value in LPL’s diversified menu of product access and fee-based platforms.

Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial managing director and divisional president, business development, said that his firm offered a unique technological advantage to its affiliates.

LPL Financial is the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer with headquarters in Boston, San Diego and Fort Mill, S.C.
