The AI50 profile states that the fund supports fund seeding in the early stages of technology companies focused on social and environmental issues. Managing $10 million to $25 million in assets under management, the fund’s profile states that 100 percent is geared to impact investments.
ImpactAssets’ Giving Fund gives philanthropists, other asset owners and their wealth advisors the opportunity to advance social or environmental change through investment. The Giving Fund currently has $424 million in total assets, according to ImpactAssets.
ImpactAssets is a nonprofit financial services firm that increases the flow of capital into investments delivering financial, social and environmental returns. To be included in the report, fund managers were required to be available to U.S. investors, have at least $10 million AUM, more than three years of experience with impact investing and documented proof of social or environmental impact.
