Integrated Partners, a Waltham, Mass.-based financial planning and registered investment advisory firm, appointed Matt Ackermann to the position of chief content officer.

In his new role, Ackermann will lead the organization’s marketing team in raising awareness of the Integrated affiliation model among financial advisors interested in a growth partner, but not in sacrificing control of their business, according to a company announcement.

Ackermann, who earned a B.A. degree in communications from Seton Hall University, was most recently employed as director of digital content at InvestmentNews, which he joined in 2013. He has also worked at SourceMedia and NJ Law Journal.
