Lamont Financial Group, a financial services firm based in Mason City and Clear Lake, Iowa, is joining LPL Financial’s broker-dealer, corporate registered investment advisor and custodial platforms through a partnership with JFC Advisor Network based in Lincoln, Neb.

The Lamont team, which was previously with Securities America, has approximately $200 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets. The firm was founded in 2013 and includes financial advisors Kris Lamont, Thomas E. Alexander and Amy Dixon. It offers comprehensive and customized financial strategies to help clients grow, protect and ultimately transfer their legacy, the firm said.

“We believe financial plans should reflect each stage of life its owner is in: whether it be purchasing a first home, financing a child's college education or planning for retirement,” said Lamont in a statement. The firm primarily works with high-net-worth individuals working toward retirement or who are already retired.

The partnership provides Lamont with the additional services, resources and investment models provided by JFC.

Scott Posner, LPL's executive vice president of business development, said in a statement, “We are proud to be Lamont’s partner by delivering innovative resources, solutions and technology that can help them be successful at every stage of their business’s life cycle. We will continue to leverage our scale to bring value to advisors, providing them time-saving, integrated capabilities so they can focus on helping their clients pursue their lifelong financial goals and aspirations.”
