Bruce K. Lee, a former managing director and private wealth manager at Merrill Lynch in Chicago, has created Keebeck Wealth Management, an independent wealth management firm also based in Chicago.

The firm will work with high-net-worth individuals and families on portfolio management, estate planning and tax strategies.

Lee has been named to both the Barron’s Top 100 and Top 1200 financial advisors. Keebeck Wealth Management is part of the Dynasty Financial Partners network.

Lee is of Korean heritage and he explained that the word Keebeck in Korean means to ascend.

Joining Lee at Keebeck are Joseph Polakoff, partner and wealth advisor; Mathew Klody, managing director and chief investment officer; Stephanie Roberts, managing director and director of operations; Alexa Hyman, vice president, client solutions, and Matthew Carey, analyst.
