Catalyst Retirement Solutions, a financial advisory based in Salt Lake City that specializes in working with small business owners, has joined the Kestra Private Wealth Services network, Kestra announced yesterday.

Led by Klint Kennedy and the father-and-son team of Garren Decker and Bryce Decker, the firm brings more than $200 million in client assets to Kestra, a hybrid RIA based in Austin, Texas, that is a subsidiary of Kestra Financial. Also joining as part of Catalyst Retirement Solutions is office manager Cortney Judkins.

Catalyst Retirement Solutions is the sixth Utah-based firm in the Kestra Private Wealth Services network.

“The independent model will allow us the opportunity to cultivate more intimate client relationships and better meet the needs of the community we proudly serve, and that’s what’s most important to us,” the Catalyst Retirement Solutions team said in a press release.

Kestra supports advisory firms transitioning from wirehouses and W-2 roles to independent businesses.
