Bluespring Wealth Partners, the Austin, Texas-based RIA acquisition subsidiary of Kestra Holdings, announced Monday that it had acquired Wisconsin firm Goldstein Advisors.

Goldstein, based in Middleton, Wis., oversees $700 million in client assets. The RIA firm is led by principals Jon Goldstein and Andy Peters, and it specializes in investment, tax and financial planning services.

According to Bluespring, Goldstein Advisors wanted to expand beyond its Wisconsin base.

As Goldstein and Peters said in a statement, "Our decision came down to the strong cultural alignment we have with the Bluespring Wealth Partners team. We’re a client-first firm with a team-oriented, growth-minded approach. The acquisition, they said, allows Goldstein "to keep our brand, identity in the local community, and processes that work for our team and clients while providing support to achieve our long-term goals.”

David Canter, the president of Bluespring, said in a statement: "The Goldstein team represents a unique combination of young individuals who have substantial tenure together. Much of the firm's core advisor team has been with Goldstein for more than a decade. This remarkable consistency has created a dependable environment that clients can trust."

Bluespring offers securities through Kestra Investment Services.
