Washington Wealth Management, an independent, multicustodial hybrid RIA, based in San Diego, Calif., has brought Kimball Creek Partners under its umbrella, Washington Wealth Management announced Tuesday.

Kimball Creek, based in Bellevue, Wash., an independent, fee- and commission-based investment advisory firm, brings $220 million in assets under management to the Washington Wealth Management platform.

Washington Wealth Management, which supports both fee- and commission-based teams of advisors, now has nearly $1 billion in assets under management. The firm has offices in California, Nevada, Washington, Connecticut, Virginia and Florida.

Kimball Creek’s business is focused mostly in the Pacific Northwest. Its founders, Dean Bennion and Mike Vincent, previously worked for Wachovia/Wells Fargo Advisors in the Seattle office of Wells Fargo. Kimball Creek will remain an independent business operating under its own name.
