Lau Financial Group, a financial services firm with $750 million in client assets, is joining LPL Financial from D.A. Davidson, LPL announced.
The firm was newly launched by Hugh Lau and is partnering with LPL Strategic Wealth Services, which provides support for breakaway advisors. Lau Financial Group provides advisory, brokerage and retirement plans.
The Lau family has been active in the Lincoln, Neb., business community for five generations, Hugh Lau operates his independent firm with JoAnn Kreitman, branch operations manager. The firm will focus on multigenerational businesses.
LPL Strategic Wealth Services provides support for daily operations and long-term business management for independent advisory firms, including real estate build out, brand development, technology setup and human resources support, in addition to ongoing strategic, administrative, marketing and CFO support.
