LJ Partnership, a private wealth partnership headquartered in London, announced major appointments in the launch of its New York office.

The new additions to the team will be joining LJ Partnership from HighTower Advisors and specialize in the management of alternative assets for high-net-worth families, foundations, family offices and investment advisories.

Before they were at HighTower, the team worked together at Guggenheim Investment Advisors.

Christopher Shin, the former head of U.S. portfolio management at Guggenheim Investment Advisors and a new partner at LJ Partnership, will lead the new team. Shin has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns in the past.

Jeffrey Fulk and Katharine Drake complete the team as LJ Partnership’s newest members. Fulk brings with him 10 years of experience working with the financial markets and worked at Guggenheim Investment Advisors. Before joining LJ Partnership, he served as a managing director at HighTower.

Drake will serve as a client services manager at LJ Partnership. She previously served on private wealth teams at both Raymond James and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The new Big Apple location is part of LJ Partnership’s international expansion and is one of eight international locations joining the group of new global offices located in Asia, Europe and North and South America.

LJ Partnership oversees over $14 billion in assets advising families, foundations, charities and individual wealth.
