Infinity Financial Partners has joined LPL Financial 's broker-dealer and corporate RIA platforms, bringing with it about $365 million in client brokerage and advisory assets.

Infinity founder Ronnie Poindexter said LPL offered the technology and advisory platforms the firm needed to better serve clients.

“LPL has a range of platforms to serve varying needs, from its digital advice platform to Manager Select,” Poindexter said. “We appreciate that LPL has made significant investments in its infrastructure that will help us deliver more value to our clients.”

Poindexter also cited LPL’s self-clearing capabilities as a reason his firm joined LPL. Infinity was formerly affiliated with Cetera.

“This helps to streamline processes and makes it much easier and more efficient to do business,” he said.

Infinity, based in Richmond, Va., was founded in 2000 by Ronnie Poindexter and Phillip Heesen Jr.

Financial advisors aligned with Infinity include Alex Robinson, Robert Kellis Jr., Dustin Newton, Robert Wheatley, Tyler Dove and Ben Dychala.

“We are proud to welcome Infinity Financial Partners to LPL,” said Rich Steinmeier, LPL Financial managing director and divisional president of business development, said in a press release. “We continue to invest in our technology and investment platforms to help advisors grow their business.”
