Three advisors formerly with Wells Fargo Advisors have joined LPL Financial and opened a new office in Charlotte, N.C., LPL announced today.

The advisors, Al Winget, Rob Benton and Andrew Robson, are affiliating with LPL through Linsco by LPL Financial, the firm’s employee advisor model. They have $745 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets. The team will be the anchor tenants of Linsco’s newest office in Charlotte and will operate as Winget Benton Wealth Management by LPL Financial.

“We aspire to be on our clients’ personal board of directors, along with CPAs and attorneys,” Winget said in a statement. Linsco advisors have brand autonomy and operate independently.

With the launch of Winget Benton Wealth Management by LPL Financial, LPL now will have a new Linsco office in Charlotte’s South Park area, near Linsco’s home office in Fort Mill, S.C. This is the second Linsco office to open in North Carolina this year, following one in Raleigh, N.C., that opened in July.
