National Financial today announced it has integrated the wealth management, market data and productivity tools of Thomson ONE with its existing Streetscape workstation. The company is a Fidelity Investments affiliate serving roughly 310 broker-dealers and institutional investment firms.
Thomson ONE, which was previously available mainly to wirehouse reps, will now be available to the approximately 85,000 independent broker-dealer reps who have access to Streetscape.
The combined Streetscape/Thomson ONE platform offers a single log-on to provide users with access to a wide array of tools and features such as financial planning, portfolio management and asset allocation tools. It also includes extensive portfolio management and performance reporting tools enabling users to create customized reports at the individual or household level.
Among other features, the enhanced platform includes real-time data feeds combining market data and news options. Users will have the ability to access account data directly from an order ticket, and will have access to integrated risk management tools, business building tools, and the ability to integrate a firm's own third-party applications into the new workstation.
Mark Healy, a National Financial executive vice president, said this platform is aimed at displaced wirehouse reps, breakaway brokers and self-clearing firms that want to outsource some activities.
