Calamos Investments has announced the appointment of R. Matthew Freund to spearhead its fixed income, credit and alternative products.
Based in Chicago and with offices in London, New York, Miami, and San Francisco, Calamos is a global investment management firm offering domestic and global strategies.
Freund has more than twenty five years of investment management experience. He formerly was chief investment officer at USAA, where he oversaw more than $140 billion in assets.
His appointment at Calamos will expand the company’s fixed income, credit and alternative products.
