A former Truist team of financial advisors with about $610 million in client assets has joined RBC Wealth Management in Wilmington, N.C., according to a news release.

The Cypress Group had been with Truist for two years and BBT Securities before that, according to BrokerCheck. It includes financial advisors Paul S. Brinkley, managing director; Jeremy Beakes, senior vice president; and Adam VanDamme. They are joined by client associates Meredith Clark and Leticia Glenn-Jones. The team provides wealth planning for wealthy individuals, business owners, executives and their families, the release said.

“Our team’s mission is to provide stewardship and guidance to help our clients protect and grow their legacy,” Brinkley said in a statement. “We are confident that we can continue to provide the best-possible service to our clients at RBC Wealth Management.”

“The Cypress Group supports their clients with thoughtful planning and wealth management that looks beyond their investments and integrates all aspects of their financial lives,” said Robin Long, South Atlantic Complex Director. “We are proud to welcome this respected team of professionals who share our firm’s steadfast commitment to clients.”
