Financial advisor Lance Lively last month left Edward Jones and joined the independent channel at Ameriprise Financial, taking $130 million in client assets with him, an Ameriprise statement said.
According to BrokerCheck, Lively started his advisory career in 2004 in the Sands Springs, Ok., office of Edward Jones, first as a broker and then dually registered.
Staying in Sands Springs, Lively said through the statement he will add staff and structure his new practice in a way that emphasizes client service and differentiates him from other advisors.
“Ameriprise stood out because of their focus on helping advisors provide the best service possible to clients,” Lively noted about his choice of partner in his move. “The outstanding technology, financial planning capabilities, investment lineup and ease of doing business at the firm have allowed us to make huge upgrades to our client service model and practice.”
