Here's another comment on these VCs that reject Thiel because of his support of Trump: How many of them support the Oregon baker that the Fed sued because the baker refused to bake a cake for a homosexual couple. Isn't it the same reasoning?

How is it that Mr. Thiel finds Mr. Trump palatable, yet the Silicon Valley snobs can't? Let me see if I can get this right: A start up company needs capital to develop. They have a well thought out plan, have covered all their bases, and have a product, service or idea that is ready to go to market. Now, the only thing the start up needs is money. And they won't take Thiel's because he supports Donald Trump? I wonder what those same people would say if a VC said Mr. Thiel's money is not welcomed because he is gay? The eruption would be heard for miles around. I don't get it. But, I'm not a Venture Capitalist. I started my company with MY money, I am not beholden to any shareholders or angels, and I guess that means that I get to make my own opinions and say them right out loud. Here goes: Any VC that refuses investment from ANY investor because of a political opinion or support is an absolute IDIOT. I'm not sure how they get their ideas off the ground, but I thank god I didn't partner with ANY of them. Now, castigate me as well.

Agree with both comments. Democrats only want free speech to the extent that you're spouting their politically correct views. Otherwise, they do everything in their power to bully, harass and silence anyone who doesn't agree with their views. Sadly, most Americans don't realize how they're being lied to, manipulated and propagandized by the "media" who are nothing more than mouthpieces for the state. We are well down the path to Socialism. And the end goal of Socialism is always Communism. Hopefully people will wake up and fight back against the establishment before it's too late. November 8th will be a critical day in our history ...

Hm-m-m, let's see: we will collectively band together to shun you and try to destroy you (at least financially) because you hold a different set of personal beliefs than we do. Why does this conjure up echoes of "you vill do it our way or zer vill be consequences! You perhaps haf relatives in zee Silicon Valley?" And these same folks claim to hold the high ground in the culture wars, To paraphrase that great philosopher, Pogo Possum: "we have met the hypocrite, and he is us!"

So much for Democrats being "open-minded" and "accepting". I have found during this election that they have become like Nazis, if you do not march to their tune, then you are black-balled. What happened to freedom of thought. This does not sound like a party that I would like to have in office either, especially with all of the corruption now related to them. I would do business elsewhere Mr. Thiel.
