Newark, N.J.-based Prudential Investments is growing its defined contribution investment-only business.

The company announced six hires, three of them at the vice president level, this week to oversee its $26 billion DCIO business.

Peter Cavallini, vice president, strategic account manager, joins Prudential Investments from Lord Abbett & Co., where he was a director in the DCIO business.

Ashley diMayorca, vice president, product management, previously served as a senior consultant with Portfolio Evaluations, a $50 billion investment consulting firm.

Brian Metz, vice president, Retirement National Accounts, previously served in Prudential Investments’ DCIO team as a retirement specialist.

Alexandra Lee, content director, Retirement Product Marketing, joins from BlackRock’s U.S. Wealth Advisory Channel Marketing and Strategy team, where she led marketing initiatives for U.S. financial advisors.

Also joining Prudential Investments’ DCIO business in the roles of retirement specialists are Matthew Jalinos and David Latour.

According to Prudential Investments’ President Stuart Parker, the firm's DCIO business has experienced a 23 percent annual growth rate over the last five years.

“We’re committed to making investments in product development, marketing and thought leadership," said Parker in a release. "These initiatives—along with our new team members—will position us well to continue this growth trajectory in 2017 and beyond.”
